The
Pohutukawa Lodge
offers en-suite Lodge Rooms and backpacker accommodation.
It is one of the original homesteads in Tryphena, built by the Blackwell
family circa 1910. The Blackwell family immigrated to New Zealand
from Tipperary, Ireland. It is set in large mature gardens with
magnificent 600-year-old Pohutukawa trees and beautiful rural and mountain
views. We provide facilities and toys for children.
